At the afternoon of May 10, 2019, Professor Yu Wei from Northeast Normal University, also the principal of affiliated primary School of Northeast Normal University, "Changjiang Scholar" of the Ministry of Education, was invited to give a lecture in the 26th Taiyan Educational Forum. More than 100 teachers and students of our college participated in this lecture.

Professor Yu Wei shared his lecture entitled "The Third way of Philosophy for Children: Research and Practice of the Affiliated Primary School of Northeast Normal University" with the teachers and students of the School of Education. Professor Yu put forward the viewpoint of establishing a child-based school, protecting children's nature, respecting children's personality, cultivating children's sociality, and promoting the development of children's ability of thinking, especially the philosophical thinking. The teachers and students interacted with Professor Yu in the process , and also shared their personal experience in the schools and classrooms about children’s learning.
