The 2020 Online International Conference on Child Studies

Education, like cultural developments, had been conceived as a“civilizing process”. Evolving ideas of children and early Civilization however began to raise questions about such positions as modern societies grow increasingly ambivalent about the enlightenment thesis towards children and cultural habitats. Recent debates on the current public health crises in pondering over various challenges of the post-2020 world creates a good opportunity , together with the Liangzhu World Heritage site next to HZNU , to re-examine related values and materials from varied academic disciplines . This online international conference is therefore held to invite global experts of education, philosophy, history, archeology, sociology, literature, and anthropology to get a better understanding of how the relationship between childhood and civilization would be a good driver for the facilitating of educational reform and betterment of the lives of today’s children across the world. The conference will consist of Chinese and international sessions, the Chinese sessions will be hosted by School of Education and the Chair Collaborative Office of the International Council for Philosophy and Human Sciences (CIPSH) in Hangzhou Normal University, the international sessions will be hosted by CIPSH and the Asian New Humanities Network (ANHN).
