Initiated by Professor Hsiung Ping-chen, the Asian New Humanities Net (ANHN) was established in 2004 to serve as a regional network for the sharing of humanities resources in Asia. It also aims at enhancing academic and research excellence in humanities through the promotion of cooperation among Asian universities and research institutes. As an evolving forum, the ANHN has become a driving force in the incubation and nurturing of the development of humanities in Asia.
